1667 The 1704 Raid on Deerfield (also known as the Deerfield Massacre[9]) occurred during Queen Anne's War on February 29 when French and Native American forces under the command of Jean-Baptiste Hertel de Rouville attacked the English frontier settlement at Deerfield, Massachusetts, just before dawn. They burned part of the town and killed 47 villagers. The raiders left with 112 settlers as captives, whom they took overland the nearly 300 miles to Montreal. Some died or were murdered along the way, and 60 were later ransomed by family and community. Others were adopted by Mohawk families and became assimilated into the tribe. In this period, the English and their Indian allies were involved in similar raids against French villages along the northern area between the spheres of influence. Hurst, Thomas (I350)

1669 The birth index shows registration at Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. But census indicates Whiteparish, Hampshire, England which is about 9 miles from Salisbury. Hence the information is not in conflict. Moody, Eva Norah Cis (I1798600943)

1677 The reason she is not buried with her husband is because Arthur's brother Francis is buried close by and Mary Anne would not be put in the same graveyard as him. He once tried to shoot her. Patch, Mary Anne (I12611114777)

1678 The relationships regarding Robert Hurst(1801) appear very unclear.
Most trees seem to attribute his childrento Ann Pope. However, she is over child bearing age when she first appears inthe 1851 census. The 1841 census has his wife shown as Hanna, with similar children’snames and dates as subsequently shown with Ann.
My theory is therefore that Robert had two wives. More verification required to establish this.

1680 The source parish record image for Agnis surname is very faint. One transcription leaves the surname blank and another decides on Rose. I think this interpretation does not match the handwriting on the page. More probable is Rafe. Added as an alternative name.
